SVALBARD

A private repulsion
as a stranger shivers in the cold.

Watching this shiver is so intimate
I have to look away

like finding a single frozen shoe
in a field.

Bleating because I’ve lost you
somewhere in the fog.

You are hard to see crushing something
like a child to your chest.
